i dislike myself a little

I feel like I’m at a weird place when dealing with the internet. I don’t what to do with myself and I don’t feel like writing about my life. I usually have an all right ability to write about my daily life but I feel like I’m in a bubble, about to go into cabin fever.

Amazon.com best place for me to shop online but I hate reading the reviews. Just is get me upset and not only on things I like in the store. I should never read any online reviews unless it a blog I trust.

For a week and half I’m been listening to massive amount of the Beatles, I don’t know why, and it the first time I listen to any of their albums. They make really good pop songs. I don’t have a favorite album at the moment.

It is weird that I only listen to Christmas songs on the radio and have two or three in my music library.

Also, I don’t think anyone on the internet will know my opinions on anything unless they call me. I have lots of thoughts on many subjects and only my family gets to hear it. I’m glad that I can talk about anything with my family because I hate to upset anyone with my views. Also, I feel too young to understand the world. I’m not worldly, still pretty shelter, and think I need some time to truly understand me.

I’m about to be nineteen in a few days and I feel sick in body & mind.

I bought Leviathan by Scott Westerfeld and check out from the library: The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman, The Last Apprentice Book One: Revenge of the Witch by Joseph Delaney, and Stranger in a Strange Land (Original Uncut) by Robert A. Heinlein

PS. Do anyone of you ever been in the mood to just say 'fuck you world' for messing with your head?

What is the 2010 Debut Author Challenge?
The objective is to read a set number of YA (Young Adult) or MG (Middle Grade) novels from debut authors published this year.* I'm going to challenge everyone to read at least 12 debut novels! I’m hoping to read at least 30! You don’t have to list your choices right away, but if you do feel free to change them throughout the year. I will also be focusing on mostly Young Adult novels.
Anyone can join, you don’t need a blog to participate. If you don’t have a blog you can always share your views by posting a review on Amazon.com/BarnesandNoble.com/GoodReads/Shelfari, or any other bookish site.
The challenge will run from January 1, 2010- December 31, 2010. You can join at anytime!

Look I won a book at Wondrous Reads. (I love how Jenny writes her blog. One of the only place I look to see upcoming YA book titles.)

I been waiting to read Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick and I can't wait.

I love stories about angels, fallen or otherwise, because they are so much fun to read about the mythology. Gosh, I’m almost nineteen years old and still in love with YA/Children section of the library. I don't know if I will grow out of it. Reading adults books just doesn’t make any emotional connection to me. Also, the lack of racial diversity in some books is appalling.

Another awesome blog that found via post secret is 1000 Awesome Things. The recent entry is #630 The moment after you wake up from a nightmare and suddenly realize it was all just a dream

Two days ago, my copy of The Dream Merchant arrive in my mail. I'm so happy to re-read this book again. The book is brilliant, the characters are diverse, the plot is massive, and it a really awesome cracky fantasy epic. (I'm reading some of the reviews on Goods Read that say that this book is horrid make me sad. The book is a translation, it has some rough patches but I think that more to do with the difference in language.)

Twilight is horrible English, read the Spanish version and I laugh so hard.

I also read Shaman King volume 19-24 and I’m continuing to read the rest of the series. I miss reading this manga series. The story and art are not perfect but the characters especially Manta makes me want to read more. I’m sad that near the end of the series I don’t get to see much of him. Some people called him annoying but I like him for being non-shaman.

I don't know why I feel so tired at the moment and I been sleeping fine. Well for Thanksgiving, I will be in Florida and again I will be cooking the dinner. Well no one is going to do it.

Question, did anyone went to still New Moon yesterday, or plan to go see it in theaters? Did any of you like the movie version?

Dude, my favorite new author is having a contest in her blog. If you don't already know is Michelle Zink, who wrote Prophecy of the Sisters. (Go read it because it both historical & a suspense thriller.)

I thank my sister for buying the book. Here is the contest Happy Holiday Swag.

Guys, you know what my favorite part of the holidays. Going over a friends’ place to eat or trying to wait for the food to get done (I remember we took some cold fried chicken and try to eat it behind Mama’s back), try to gamble with pennies playing Dominos, going out in the cold to walk around the old neighborhood, and making fun of each other.

I also celebrate my family’s birthday in November and my own birthday in December. I love being with my parents eating at a good restaurant, my dad cracking jokes, my mom poking me, and my sister’s snark during these time.

Winter will always be my favorite season even thought the sun is gone for a while. Good family help me get though the winter.

My two favorite book of the year!

Prophecy of the Sisters is my sister's copy of the book. She hasn't finished reading it yet.

The Dream Merchant by Isabel Hoving is my library copy. The book is brilliant and over 600 pages. (Man, I need a while to be able to write a good review.)

I'm going to buy a used copy over the internet. The book is out of print at this time.
